Well, it is time to dust off this blog after nearly a year of inactivity. Thanks to Facebook I am posting in tiny spurts but there is so much to say these days, I will need lots of room to stretch.
Speaking of stretching - my little niece Harper (age 7.5 weeks) is stretching all over the place these days. Very antsy. I know it is because she is anxious to join me on my world travels.
You can follow her antics over at http://harpersaar.wordpress.com
I am at the airport in a very comfortable chair in a very comfortable lounge, but my stomach is in knots. I don't know why. I have traveled all over the world without incident, so I am concerned that this anxiety isn't travel related. I went to an excellent event a couple of weeks ago with Keith Kochner (www.mentorshipmastery.com) and one of the main things he talked about was following your "Tug" or intuition. I don't think I am feeling this way because I am supposed to stay, but I can't pinpoint it so that is bugging me.
I shall see if a Bloody Mary solves this problem.
My trip to Dubai is off to a interesting start because I was originally flying through Atlanta and then on to Dubai. Now I am going to go through Amsterdam. I started typing "I was supposed to go" and switched it to "originally". I caught myself because I am wondering if this is where I was meant to be all along.
Trust me, the blog posts are going to get way more interesting and funny than this. I just had to get this out so I can turn my attention to the sunny side of travel again.
Stay tuned for posts from the shiny modern desert. Merry Christmas all!
