I realize the people fighting terrorism have a very difficult job, and I try to respect that. My hair is standing on end right now in spite of that because they just said on the news that we can't use blankets or pillows or reach for personal belongings in the overhead one hour before a flight lands.
This is because someone tried to blow up a plane yesterday. Again, as a frequent traveler I take security very seriously, and I don't complain (that much) about inconvenience at the airport, but this is now the third thing that is USELESS security.
If a terrorist knows this, won't they just take action an hour and 10 minutes before the end of the flight?
If they can destroy lives with liquids in more than 3oz containers, couldn't they just combine several smaller ones once on board?
And why, for the love of God, are we still walking barefoot through the airport. Can't we solve this?
What possible good does it do to take action after the fact? 115 people die every day in this country in car accidents, but half the people making these stupid airport rules aren't wearing their seat belt on the way home from work.
I guess I will just have to sell enough RE9 to buy a private jet. It is my only hope
