OK, I realize that this is going to ruin my reputation, but
I am going to put it out there anyway. I
think Will Ferrell is hilarious. I am writing this on
a plane right now watching “Talledega nights” The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”…and
I am repeatedly drawing unwanted attention by laughing out loud. My favorite quote so far:
"I am the best…I just wake up in the morning and sweat excellence."
Also: “Will you be my Katie Couric?”.
OK, as I write this long post, I keep coming up with new favorite parts. He is in a slow motion foot race with “Borat” and the sound track is “We Belong” - way to work in the Pat Benatar reference. Where is she anyway?
Other things I love but haven’t written about, because I am a lazy lazy blogger:
Laurie Notaro. She is hands down the funniest author I have ever read. I would love to just meet her in person once,
but I know I would embarrass myself there as well
PS - OMG!! I wrote this on a plane, but now I am on land and went to add in the links such as to her myspace page (which is funny because the navigation is totally in French) and what does she have as her home page music??? Love is a Battlefield - by PAT BENATAR!!!!! I love it when the universe is random like that. I haven 't heard or thought of Pat Benatar in years, but I assure you my new iPod nano (see below) shall soon be full of it. Two references in one day - that is a sign.
My new car. I seriously did not understand the gap between a Saturn and a Mercedes. I know that sounds stupid, but it is totally true. Sometimes when I get home, I just drive around the block for a few more minutes because I just love love love it. It is exactly how I was meant to live. In the meantime, if you know someone who wants to buy a nice-but-not-Mercedes Saturn VUE, please let me know.
My super cool (way cooler than Ashley’s) iPod nano. It seriously makes my video iPod look obese. Also, I rarely use the video or picture features of my HUGE Old-school iPod, but luckily even that is tiny, so I can have both. Also, they are wired into the steering wheel of my COOL NEW CAR. I will prepare you now for the fact that Ashley is going to post a comment that it doesn't matter because her Mercedes is going to be newer than mine. Don't believe the hype. Mine will always be cooler.
She is also going to post that her nano is cooler because it matches her car. Whatever. Ask her how her car is rolling these days. Also mine is RUBY RED SLIPPER red. Seriously. What could be better than that? Mine matches the lining of my bag....so HA!
