OK - it is only the last two seasons that I have been into it, but So You Think You Can Dance is SO MUCH BETTER than Idol I can't stand it. I love this show. I don't know anything about dance, but I am totally into it. Now that I have said that, I can't help but cross my fingers that they shed the 3 tap dancers and the asshat who named himself "Legacy" immediately. If I could be pleasantly surprised with a surprise 4 way elimination 45 minutes from now that would be just great.
I am behind as I post this thanks to TiVo, but I really have to assume I won't love the sound of tap shoes any more 2 hours from now than I do now.
Also, Mollie - you are officially on notice. Get less irritating right away or Philip gets to stay. He has to get rid of the shoes, but he can stay.
PS - Even though I was thrilled to see Paula Abdul leave Idol, I wouldn't mind her on this show. I have to assume this bit is going somewhere.
I love SYTYCD...I also don't know shit about dance except how to do the occasional grinding when I am wasted or break out the old school Roger Rabbit which also requires excessive booze.
I actually do like Legacy. I think he is a pretty great dancer but I agree the name is a little much and he has the tendancy to break down in tears which doesn't really give him much cred for the street hip hop boy he is supposed to be but since I have DVR I can fast forward through the tearing up part and therefore a forgivable offense.
Mollee needs to go. I can't stand her little girl super bubbly thing she has going on. Makes me want to vomit.
The guy that bugs me is the ballroom dancing guy that is married to the red head. He is a little to pretty boy for my taste and flaunts it shamelessly. His wife used to bug me too but last night she did a dance to the 80's song Relax and she is now in my good graces.
I haven't seen the elimination show yet but my fingers are crossed for Mollee and that pretty boy Ballroom man to go home. Cheers.
